The vertically challenged people of the world have risen up (about 3.5 feet) to ban the use of the word midget on broadcast TV claiming it is racist and offensive.
Little people are calling on the Federal Communications Commission to ban the use of the word “midget” on broadcast TV.
The group Little People of America said Sunday the word is just as offensive as racial slurs.
The request was prompted by an April episode of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” that the group said was demeaning. In the episode, contestants created a detergent ad called “Jesse James and the Midgets.” The contestants, including Joan Rivers, suggested bathing little people in the detergent and hanging them to dry.
This is the video that pissed off the little people:
Well there’s nothing worse than a pissed off little person, they may be short and wear kids clothing but they can ruin your day. I worked with the meanest Puerto Rican shorty back in the day and it was wise to give her a wide birth because the girl had a temper. If you were the lucky person that pissed her off, she’d jump on you quicker than a rabid monkey on crack. Serious. Although she did roll some cute miniature joints and always had the craziest shit to say… Marilyn, she was awesome.

The word is offensive like nigger and retard, but it should not be banned. If we ban it then we’ll have to ban other words and it’ll only be a matter of time until no one can speak with out being sent to some interment camp.
seriously if the little people are so offended by the word midget they should just get in our faces about it and make a stink about it. banning it solves nothing. education solves a lot of problem however.

The only reason why they are making a sink is for money.
Where does it stop with the censorship? Pretty soon, saying just ANYTHING to anyone will be deemed as “offensive”. The people in this country have gotten so thin skinned it’s sickening.

I wonder where all the sensitivity stems from.
I remember an SNL skit with Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor called Word Association and they used all sorts of ‘bad words’ in the skit and this was about 35 years ago.
