Yes, this wonderful topic again. I’d like the opinions of everyone.
I’ve come up with the following ideas for a universal health care system:
- Convert the private insurance industry into a federal fund. Set aside a ton of money to cover health care costs, and any left over money can go back to the people or spent on other programs.
- Have a mix of private and federal coverage. What I envision is private insurance collecting up to 1,000 dollars for any one bill. Anything above that would automatically roll over to federal insurance.
- Cover everyone for specific costs (procedures or otherwise).
Now, I want to hear everyone’s opinions.

If it raises my health insurance or taxes in anyway I say no. I pay for my health insurance. If joe blow has no health insurance that’s just too bad. Don’t raise costs for people who do pay for their own. If they can figure out how to do it without any of that I say go for it.

I say everyone should have access to health care. …EVERYONE, and if it means my taxes, health care costs, etc, go up, then so be it. Because it’s the right thing to do. As for this particular plan, I’m not educated enough to comment on the pro’s and con’s of any one specific plan. I just know something should be done to ensure that all Americans have equal access to health care.
